In today’s era where I was busy dating, having fun, running towards success, making careers and achieving my dreams, one day I bumped into a guy. Went on a long drive with him, shared some moments and thought it will pass. But no that was not the plan, something more was about to happen, something magical.

We crossed each other one day, I was passing by and he stood there staring at me and noticing my hair blowing with the wind. We met in the month of June, the monsoon season but we cherished every rain which would occur when we used to meet. The kid in both of us jumped out and we fell in love. Pampering, caring, loving, exploring, fighting, hating and living it, time passed and the relation grew. We grew as individual heroes. He as a traveller, dreamer, writer and poet and me as a traveller, dreamer, writer.

Wait a sec. We grew into identical personalities yet had our own flavours to life, cherishing the differences and loving each other limitlessly.

I grew strong as an individual, I am a better person now and will keep on growing. I know I will always find him whenever I will be stuck in a situation, whenever I will fall, whenever I need a new lesson in life. I will find him with that smile (his signature smile which brings two wrinkles by his eye side), every situation is beautiful because I have him always by my side, sometimes not literally but in my thoughts.

We did not get married to each other, we officially could not authorise our relation but we still share everything. I still know the exact thought he has when he shares his writing. He can figure out my thoughts just with my “Hello” sound. He can truly read my eyes and things going inside me.

I guess it’s really not important to give this bond a name, because beyond any name our love will survive as it is the strongest of all. I may not be his wife... But yes I am his proud soulmate.
